Who's behind KingstonWebDesigner.com

Christopher Ross, the person behind KingstonWebDesigner.com, based in Fort Erie, Ontario
Christopher Ross — Fort Erie, Ontario

My name's Christopher Ross. I started building on the web in 1996, and I've worked in WordPress specifically since 2007.

A Kingston business's website matters just as much to that business as a university's platform matters to the university it serves, so I hold both to the same bar. The bigger, more complicated projects, universities, media companies, government teams, run under my own name at thisismyurl.com, the practice I've built over three decades, priced for that scale. KingstonWebDesigner.com is a separate practice, built specifically for local businesses: the same craft, a plainly-priced fee built for what a local business actually needs.

Same hands, same standards, a smaller bill.

Whichever size site you build with me, you own it. The domain, the hosting account, and every file are registered in your name, not mine, from the day the site goes live. If you ever want to move on, you take the whole thing with you.

I work from the Niagara region, so I'll say plainly: Kingston is a new market for me. What I bring instead of a decade of local stories is thirty years of building on the web and the willingness to learn your street before I build your page.

If your Kingston business also needs a hand getting found in search, not just a website, KingstonSEO.com is the sister site for that, run by the same person.
